Where are the Nuke Plants?

It seems insane not to consider the nuclear option for power. Where is Obama on this? Nobody in the public arena is pushing nuclear power, all we see are windmill and solar advocates. Both of these energy sources are feeble and meek in comparison. I don’t get it. And, this doesn’t address that notion that oil is still a viable source of energy despite the extremely absurd rhetoric from the left claiming the world will end because you drive to work. We should be drilling for oil now and concurrently work to build future nuclear sources. All this talk about rebuilding America with solar and windmill is stupid. I could stomach windmills and solar power if they were in conjunction with nuclear and oil, but the are not.

Bush was serioius about preserving the oil market in our favor - and this is/was terribly important. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise - it is imperative that America remain energy solvent. America simply can not just let itself run out of energy. Until Nuclear comes on line, or a 15 million windmills (think about that) are built, or 50 gawdzillion solar panels are installed, we need energy, and oil is it.

We should be working really hard towards short term oil and long term nuclear. If windmills and solar panels make you happy - fine, but lets get serious about energy. Windmills and solar panels are not serious.
