Taliban Threaten Pakistan

As Taliban militants approach Islamabad the capital of Pakistan,
a nuclear power and ally to the west, the foreign policy position(s) of the
Obama administration come into question. On one hand we have diplomacy that
waffles between tough talk and apologetic dribble and feign efforts to
bolster military support with troubling calls to pull out with little or no
little regard to what happens when we do. Is it not possible that terrorism
around the world is on the rise precisely because the Obama Administration
is changing American foreign policy from hawkish assertions to dovish
passivisism?

A lot of liberal folks believe in passive approaches to foreign militants
bent on destroying all things infidel - I do not. Not only do I believe that
it is insane to believe that the militant Islamic fascist will respond
favorably to passive liberalism, I think it borders on criminal to do
anything other than take them to task and if possible eliminate them
outright. How many times do Americans have to witness the relentless
insanity before they realize that the cancer in the middle east is not going
to just up and change its ways because we apologize to them or send them our
tax money as if its some sort of blood letting?

We are going to test passive liberalism (again) and we are going to find out
the hard way that it doesn’t work - again.
