Miss Conservative California NOT?

Michael Medved, a popular conservative voice on AM radio commented that Miss California is an important part of the conservative body, but he recoils at the thought of her commanding a leadership voice in the GOP. The progressive liberal left has absolutely blasted her, much like Palin, and coined her as the voice of conservatives, the intent being to reduce the GOP to beauty pageant status. Mr. Medved is rightly reacting to this blast when he agrees that Miss California isn’t or shouldn’t be the spokesperson for the GOP, but he misses a bigger point.

Progressvie liberals champion Alinsky’s rules for radicals - if this in unfamiliar you should google Alinsky. Progressive Liberals attack and ridicule their conservative opponents non stop and without much concern for truth most of the time. The end justifies the means in their world. Miss California has been attacked and the conservative base along with it. There is virtually no loop holes or gaps in their attack. Everything is exploited to the fullest. All issues are exagerated and manipulated to the benefit of the left. Why would anyone come along and agree with a progressive liberal when the only one who cares about the point being made is the conservative? The Progressive Liberals say Miss California is a lame spokesperson for the GOP and Mr. Medved agrees with them for the most part. I think this is a mistake.

First - right now (May 2009) who in the GOP is speaking out for conservative values? Seems to me there is plenty of room for Miss California on all levels. If Mr. Medved believes that the GOP needs to expand and grow and reach out (he opposes cutting off Arlen Specter or Colin Powell) then he should agree that Miss California should be embraced, and generally he does agree with this. But he shouldn’t stop short of accepting her 110% in any way just because the Progressive Liberal left bashes her and tries to take advantage of a true but weak point that is supposed to diminish the GOP.

Second - who cares if the liberal left thinks she stinks and the GOP suffers for it? Miss California should be championed and supported 110% and welcomed as just one of millions of voices of the GOP despite the left. Let the Progressive Liberals believe what they want but don’t agree with them and downplay the importance of Miss California in any shape or form. Is Miss California the best person for the GOP spokesperson job - no, but that only needs to matter to the progressive liberal left.

Miss California has conservative values and her viewpoints shouldn’t have been attacked in the first place. But they were attacked and the conservative base should rally behind her and accept her full out 110% and counter slam any attempt by the left to hurt her or the GOP. Use the same rules of engagement that the left uses (Alinsky) and stop the debate at the front door immediately. Make the case for conservatism, ridicule the left, be relentless and unwaivering and under no circumstance succomb to a false arguement that she is an unworthy spokesperson for the GOP. 

There is some truth to the point that Miss California is not the best example or choice for the GOP spokesperson job, but that doesn’t concern the left, they only intend to hurt and diminish the GOP. On those terms,  she is the best spokesperson for the GOP as far as they are concerned and the Progressive Lberals need to have this shoved up their arse’s. Maybe Mr. Medved needs a little of the same.

I know Mr. Medved will object to the use of explitives, however politely implied they may be - but the point needs a stong exclamation point. Support Miss Conservative California and don’t cut hatred from the left any slack.
