- The Constitution and the free market capital system are responsible for bringing America, and the world, uprecedented levels of human prosperity, liberity, freedom and happiness. Is Capitalism perfect? No, but it out performs all other forms of government and economy. There is no comparison - Communism, Socialism and Fascism fail utterly, and they wreak havoc on the human condition.

So…..why are so many people following Obama and his march towards Socialism? Examine the American News, Entertainment and Academic industries. These industries have been saturated by the progressive liberal left. They have successfully torn this country apart by dominating the media and controlling popular thought.

There is one significant difference between liberals and conservatives….liberals have for the most part been the minority. Liberals have been the squeeky wheel that attempts to get greased. Conservative voices have remained the sleeping majority. The liberal left has dominated mainstream America and has successfully turned the country to the left. The question is, while conservativism sleeps, where is liberalism taking America?

There is a popular presumption that liberalism is an open minded forward thinking idealogy that deserves to preempt the old and tired ideas of conservatism. I submit that there are some major flaws with this presumption. Moral relativism has replaced inalienable rights, as progressive liberalism would have it. It is easy to feel good about moral relativism - the Entertainment, Educaton and News Media industries exploit this every day. It is ‘tough love’ to recognize inalienable rights as conservatism would have it. The Constitution was built upon a formible new idea - rugged individualism and inalienable rights and these are best preserved with conservative idealogies, not liberal ideologies.

The Constitution was intended to provide a government that represented the people. The Founding Fathers recognized that all existing forms of government (past and present) ultimately failed to represent the people they promised to govern. The Constitution therefor intended to provided a form of government via rule of law as forseen by a majority, to the exclusion of all other casual or forced forms of control not forseen by the majority. The only way to prevent a minority based ruling class is to provide and protect the majority ruling class. The government was intentially limited and the majority given the control. In order for this to work, the government has to remain small and the majority need to remain in control, seems simple enough. Unfortunately, both the Republicans and Democrats have abandoned small government and progressive liberalism has abandoned (never accepted to be correct) the idea that the majority shall rule.

The Republican party contributes to the demise of America in it own way, but the Democratic party, those parts controlled by the progressive liberals, is completely opposed to the principles of the Consititution and I submit responsible for the majority of the conflict that troubles this Nation. For example, we have the majority of people in the liberal state California voting twice to preserve the institution of marriage and yet the progressive liberals continue to attack the majority pushing their opinion via courts and judges. The majority are being duped by special interest groups that exploit the legal system intended to protect them. The gay rights groups will probably succeed in exploiting the legal system, fine, but tomorrow it will be some other minority group pushing its agenda. We can only hope that the next exploitation will demostrate the importance of keeping control within the hospice of the majority, to a degree that will even beg compliance by todays gay rights activists. It isn’t important whether you agree that marriage should be defined exclusively as the union between a man and a woman, what is important is understanding that whatever course the public goes, it should go as per the majority. Anything else flirts with minority control and this directly conflicts with the intentions of the Constitution. If the minority shall attempt to prevail, let their battle take place in the forum of public opinion, not in the courts. It is imperative to preserve majority rule, of course convincing a minority group activist of this is highly unlikely.

An interesting side note to the Constitutution, if the rule of law shall be given to the majority, the minority shall therefor not be given the rule of law. The minority are specifically the minority and without control because, and only because, the majority control the control. The Constitution doesn’t gaurantee anything to the minority, it attempts to yield government power to the people by giving control to the majority. This idea goes in circles a bit, but it is important to understand and it explains a necessary side affect of the Constitution.

Progressive Liberalism has permeated our Education system, Entertainment industry and News Media. People are losing touch with what made America great - rugged individualism, less government and rule of law by the majority. The feel good mentality of liberalism is killing America from the inside. The sleepy conservative majority remain on the sidelines watching it being torn apart - that is the part that just kills me.

This blog is about the promotion of all things pro conservative. It would be with the utmost sincerity and hope that liberal thinkers would visit this blog and ‘see the light’ ....but don’t count on it. Pro conservative commentary will be fueled, Joe the plumber is welcome - Liberal flames will be squelched.
Mostly, I hope that conservative voices will stand and confront the feel good Progressvie Liberals - before it is too late.
